Don't tell me it's Lausanne? I'd be damned! To tell the truth, the orange "Restaurant" and "Bar" signs look familiar (is it a COOP supermarket?), and the buildings remind me of the railway station area, but the dome and the tower in the background only bring me very faint memories... just like someone having amnesia!
 But maybe it's nearby Vevey or Bern? (I have only been almost nowhere out of Lausanne, so I don't really know!) Last edited by WasabiHoney; February 25th, 2012 at 01:02 PM. |

I found it, it's Interlaken! But I didn't expect such a small town to have a tower and an American chain restaurant!

On the contrary: despite having lived there for a while, I'm sure most of you here have seen more places in Switzerland than I did! But I never felt it was "a whole world in miniature", despite its large foreign population. It's like the country's stiff and boring atmosphere totally wipes off the feel of diversity.
