Yes i agree, it is a historical event and it should be remembered. The problem i have, is that, you will not see buildings in Germany decorated with the face of Hitler, but for some reason, having a big face of Lenin, on a building which once was a place where people died, is perfectly fine( i hope you see the irony in that one). It's okay to pay tribute to communists in Germany, but on the other hand, it is not okay to build a museum, or even mention the fact that millions of Germans were brutally killed during and especially after the war.

I think Damian didn't mean the concentration camp (as I don't see any Lenin portrait there) but that red brick building with Lenins face on it.
That building was/is(?) the swimming hall for diplomats of the nearby Russian embassy.
