Ya you really do not expect this type of scenery in Saudi.. its absolutely stunning!
I always wondered why the capital wasn't built in one of Saudi's greener regions... just because it would have better temperature and more natural resources no?

Thanks Jocker07. But Bani Malik Mountains are not as green. I've been looking for the best nature pics in south region. I've been following the other thread to know more green places so that I can plan a trip there. It seems that this region has the best scenery till now.

Well, if you're looking for the greenest. Then you should head to the mountains of Al-Baha Province. It's as greenest as it gets there

Some pictures (You might've seen those already):

Faifa mountains do have a good chance of winning that title though. I'd visit them both actually..

Thanks for the pics. Actually I went to AlBaha like 10 years ago in the summer, the weather was nice, but it didn't look like the pictures you uploaded. Maybe I went in the wrong season.

No, believe me it even gets better than in the pictures.! I've been there like three or four times and in all seasons (I have family there)..
But it's not really a tourist attraction, so not a lot of people go there and that area isn't exactly the easiest to reach. Unfortunately, I can't remember its name now since the last time I've been there was like 10 years ago but if I do I'll let you know.

Please if you can remember, as maybe I didn't go to the good places when I went there previously.

Mesch actually iam originally from small village aside with baljurashi city it's 20km away to al bahah, used to known as souck alsabt (Saturday market) it's a city for business in that region also it has interesting attraction spots around it, i think you maybe referencing to wadi sakran وادي سكران, or maybe to bin humran village that it's always cloudy during the year and has some part of sharp jagged peaks and narrow valley and extremely green!
