I dont know sometimes I feel Mahindra city is probably the best place to show case India, Please let me know if there are anything elsE? I wish Infy brings more jobs in here. I keep hearing people complain about distance all the time

Electronic City in Bangalore is about a slightly lesser distance from it's city centre, and people don't complain - because there are ample buses, Volvo or otherwise. We need more Volvos dedicated to MWC, and better trains.

well, the plant is not coming out of the window, all the three levels of window are not on the same vertical plane, there is patio in front of every window and plants are grown there. i am sure they have chairs etc over there by the plants too

TN Govt. includes SRM University and Mahindra World City on site visit list to most delegations visiting Chennai. Being showcased.

The distance and 2-2.5 hr travel time puts off quite a few.Someone in my family rejected a 1 Million offer.

The Govt should develop the belt from Siruseri to MWC to Oragadam to Spr as a New Chennai area, like Navi Mumbai. Random expansion is not going to help.

This clearly proves that all these things - good designs, well thought out planning , efficient execution, good maintenance - are doable in Chennai and India.

The mantra is that this is totally private, without Govt influence.

Govt should provide the common infra and let the private sector do the development.

The last pic is the new development block(u can also see in the first pic) being constructed which is nearing completion. The building is humongous and is rumored to have around 5000 seating capacity. Wat you see in the pic is only half the building. The other half(mirror image) lies to the left of the pic.
