It has to be a christian church?

Otherwise Mole Antonelliana in Turin, originally a sinagogue, is 167,5 m.

Actually when it was a Sinagogue it was not so tall. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Br...sraelitico.jpg

It has been completed after the city acquired it.

From Romania "Catedrala Mitropolitana din Timisoara" almost 90 m

The cathedral is also near a park and in the center of the city, and also the tallest structure in the city .
