The question is just what to do about Ullevi. Right now it feels like Gotevent doesn't really know what to do with it. Is 2-3 summer concerts per year enough to keep it running? When it comes to sports - well, with the athletics tracks makes it quite unsuitable for football. On the other hand, there is not a lot of athletics competitions going on and even fewer that draws crowds big enough to fill up the stadium. Next year we won't even have finnkampen!
One way to go is to build temporary stands for football, like the did for FC Bacelona - Manchester United. But do you get a nice atmosphere in there? I don't know. It just feels like the owners of Ullevi (Gotevent) has got to make up their minds on what really to do with the stadium. |
