I love streetscape scenes like this. It's the biggest reason I enjoy coming to urbanism websites like this. I love seeing skyscrapers and beautiful natural scenery as well (both of which Seattle is among the best), but for me nothing beats seeing inviting streetscapes like this.

As usual, great shots.
Yeah I was out enjoying the nice weather today, too. Kinda freaky, actually.

I love the shot of the Boeing jet frames on the train. Is that near Golden Gardens?

Bond James Bond says "freaky?" Well, not really. Every 4-5 years El Nino provides good winter weather in Seattle. It really isn't that unusual, only in that it happens far enough apart where we forget about it. As a disclaimer, we should probably note there are many Seattle winters with seemingly unending days of clouds and drizzle, but why spoil these images?
Pwright, it seems repetitive to continue to compliment your photos because they are so great, we have come to expect them. But I will compliment you on posting them when someone makes an idiotic statement about Seattle on another site, one we are both familiar with. That is admirable and puts those other posts to shame. So keep on doing what you do. It really is your calling. And it does make a difference! Last edited by pwalker; February 24th, 2010 at 04:32 AM. |
