Thanks. Some are mine and others are finds from the net. In which locale congregation are you registered? Perhaps I can try to visit that too.

Those that are airconditioned are exceptions rather than the norm. You may have noticed the proliferation of electric fans in the Pineda kapilya. The Central Temple is fully airconditioned. So are the houses of worship in Jackson, Makati; Luzon Avenue, Quezon City and; F. Manalo, San Juan. INC kapilyas usually have large, adjustable windows to let in air and cavernous ceilings under the roofs to trap the tropical heat.

The INC structures in the US, like the San Jose kapilya on Story Road, probably have temperature controllers.

Nice to meet you here.

Oh, I see. I'd have to wait till the renovation's done then.

I'm at Projects 2 and 3 in QC. How about when you were in the Philippines, in which locale were you "nakatala"?

Let me see... I think I have a picture of the Burnaby chapel somewhere here... Must be old though...

@ Arnold Carl, could you fix the image? I just see a red x.

I had coffee at Starbucks on Temple Drive, White Plains, QC last Friday. It's got a nice view of the Mormon Manila Temple from there especially at night when the structure is bathed in light. I'd try to take a picture of it next time.

@ Icarus

INC Churches are well kept, how often do they clean and re-paint the exterior of these Churches/Kapilyas? Considering the state of air pollution in the Philippines especially Metro Manila, these places of worship are nice and clean. It is also noticeable the paint hues are mostly grey and beige or tan.

Regarding the under-construction Mormon Temple in Cebu, it is definitely similar in style with the Mormon Temple in Santa Monica, CA.

Muntinlupa (on the National Highway, Putatan)

To JBkayaker12- I'm not sure about how often but there is a refurbishment schedule. Some buildings especially those near the main arteries of the metropolis tend to need repainting more often because of greater exposure to pollution.

Each congregation would have a dedicated set of officers that conduct regular clean up activities. The maintenance of the cleanliness, orderliness and functionality of the houses of worship are given premium since they are an integral part of our services to the Lord. Aside from locale-based caretakers, inspectors are tasked by the Church Administration to go around and report about the status of the structures and the rest of the compounds where they are erected.

To Tigs- Thanks for sharing the pictures. In due time, they'd probably have a grander edifice to replace that renovated structure on Fullerton Avenue.
