At first, because it's my birthplace.
2. It's important railhead of Belarus.

Old 100-year water tower(now its fate is unknown, earler was in rent)

Future site of shop(it has no windows and weird entrance)

tnx for your positive comments.

Pics that i've taken is very rare because on the Internet there are too few photos of Osipovichi Town.
And especially people take pics of Osipovichi Railway Station and Lenin Sq.
I've never been in 2nd side of the town(except the main market)(town is separated by the railway)
even though it's my hometown

I know that it's industrial district and there are no interesting sights.

I've forgotten to take pics of new shopping mall, building of BelarusBank(very huge building), and Tomb of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War(aka World War 2)(in Belarus-1941-1944, in USSR-1941-1945)

I will try to do it in summer(because usually I arrive to here every summer, but now there are other reasons why I can go to Osipovichi)

hahaha!

Is it like the end of the world?
For me-not yet
I think for European People-Yes.
Because infrastructure in European Countries(at least of European Union), course, much better than here, In Belarus.
But there are many Catholics and Polish in Belarus.
Because on the Middle Ages(especially in 16-18 centuries) Belarus was part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

And many people think that Belarussian is dialect of Polish,
other people think different(especially Russians). That Belarussian is dialect of Russian.
But actually it's separate language with their own phonetics.

The end of the world!:-)) LOOOL!hahah!

Yeah, that's right.
It looks beautiful.
But forests here in winter are beautiful too(when they're in snow)

Wow

What cool photos, you never see pics of Belarus around here!

Eastern Europe has always fascinated me, I've been only to prague, which lately has started to resemble cities in the west more than the east,

I would love to see Belarus one day, perhaps when lukashenko decides to stop playing stalin and get with the program.

Thanks for this thread. Belarus remains a rather unknown and unfamiliar place for most outsiders.I'm planning to pay a visit (maybe even this summer) so any material is highly appreciated.

I doubt it very much that Europeans of this city think that they are living "at the end of the world"
