From public gardens, to ancient Churches, Beirut Souks, the abandoned Dome cinema, and even public libraries, all of these platforms welcomed the thousands of visitors that swelled the streets of Down Town Beirut and Hamra.

The styles of music were Pop, Rock, Oriental, Jazz, Folk, Electronic, Classical and other contemporary performances by some 50 Lebanese groups. Featured artists included Fareeq El Atrash, The Incompetents, Zeid and the Wings, Ghazi Abdel Baki, Youmna Saba, Jade, and Namito.

It seems like it's just the downtown area ("Soldiere") that is like this.

You shouldn't assume if you haven't been there

@Kalami theres quarters like that all over Beirut - Verdun, Sodeco, Archrafieh, Saifi Village, a couple in Clemenceau and of course the famous downtown
