Great...so v have, at least 2 hotel in and around the city which are a part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World...Good going!

Some developments spotted @ ITC Shonar, i.e. this huge crane, i guess in the next few mnths pillars would be visible, so guys keep an eye at the site!!...especially those who frequent this site, pretty often!!

 that's the boards for the construction of Park Circus-EM Bypass flyover/elevated road!...it passes through Shonar, and it terminates about a km north of Shonar, i.e. the upcoming site for Hilton!

thats gr8.......another news regarding hotels, the Pride Group of hotel is soon planning to open its 1st hotel in Kolkata at Rajarhat, most probably at the Terminus Mall!

Yes i noticed that in wikimapia,it says Pride hotel project above terminus.
Pride group makes good 4 star business hotels.Novotel is coming up across the street. |

Some bad news,i dont know whether this has been posted before,but the Emaar MGF has literally exited the city.
They have sold the EM byepass land for the JW marriot & Holiday Inn to a consortium of city developers. They have also put on block a piece of land meant for the Park Hyatt,and The Statemans House which they had bought. |

dude, dont worry Emaar land has been bought by Mani Group and they are coming up with a hotel and a service appartment.
Also i would like to mention that the DLF land is in the final stage of being taken over by South City!!!...wahan v hotel hi banega!!! Regarding the second part of your news, no idea about their progress!

with the recent flurry of upcoming hotels I am not surprised as some of them are pulling out. Rajarhat still needs to have proper infrastructure before its sold out for hotels, convention centers etc
