This is a very good hotel skirts of the city of Kolkata. In the same compound, one can find the Lake Land Country Club. It has huge green lawns with good swimming. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent with lots of variety.

Thats the Fortune hotel you are talking about,been there its really quite upmarket and nice.

Ffort is not a Radisson anymore. However there's another Radisson slated to open in Kazi Nazrul Islam Sarani due to open in late 2012.

wow i didn't know the airport hotel is also going to be by Radisson's. Radisson is really investing in Kolkata.

Ok its a puzzle only God can solve

the Cervera Pioz website show these two (1 and 2) renders for the Westin/Intercontinental Hotel

While the CP Kukereja's website has these two

the above two are the architects involved in the construction of the hotels.

and Shrishti Corps Website too shows the above images interchangeably.
also no one's calling it a Westin. Its still called Intercontinental everywhere. Is it really a Westin?

my take on this:

the first one is too ugly for the bengali council to consider

the third one is good looking but no one wants two devil horn in the city

the middle one is the most probable and it looks structurally safe.

-A board meeting will be held to finalize project design.
-Capacity : 200-300 rooms
-Investment : Rs 500 crore

- this should be the land parcel next to (erstwhile) DLF-Hilton. Hope they build a landmark building here.
