aw that's an exception hehe..pero I was wondering why a lot would go crazy over Havaianas when it's just a simple pair of slippers.

Buy a Spartan slippers at Carbon Market for P25 and put some design in it and lo! you now have a slippers that is being sold for as high as P1,000..

Haha.. Mao ba..

Then might as well make your ordinary slippers look like Havaianas.

I think this is a good business.. We'll buy dozens of pairs of spartan slippers, put some design in it, and sell it under the brand "HAVANA" for only P100...

True. Folded 'n Hung is more affordable than Penshoppe, with the latter believed by many as being "pangmasa" even if naa pa'y mas barato sa pangmasa "kuno" (meron pang mas mura sa pangmasa "kuno")

Yeah, actually, most of the shops at Ayala and SM are the same. Pero, the density of "high end" shops at Ayala is higher than SM's that's why many believe that Ayala is not masa-friendly. Pero it's basically the same but I prefer the Ayala environment - cozy, quiet, relaxing, comfortable than SM's noisy, crowded environment which is unconducive for the serious shopper.

I only go to SM when I need something there that's not in Ayala
e.g. 1. Informatics, where I study
2. People are People (I hope they open a branch at Ayala)
3. Diego (although they have a branch at Ayala, friends ko na kasi ang staff nila )
4. SALE

ahak pud aning pasosyalan...you go to a mall to buy things, to dine, to watch a movie...not flaunt your social status...

if you plan to do that, you could always visit the country club

mao bitaw i find it uneasy to shop in ayala because i dont like the feeling of being surrounded by the "pasosyal" folks. true social folks need not to flaunt what they have. it goes out naturally. ang uban klaro kaayong trying hard.
