Rockwave Festival
Because Rockwave Festival is the best festival in Greece and one of the best in Europe, I had to create this thread...
Some words about it: Rockwave Festival is a rock festival held in Malakassa, Greece, a few miles outside of Athens, Greece. It is one of the most famous music festivals in Greece. The festival's history begins back in 1995, but it had its popularity spread since 2004. The festival's location was constantly being changed until 2004, when event park TerraVibe Park, located in Attica, became the permament host of the festival. Numerous of very famous bands have already took part in the festival.. some of them are: Placebo, Moby, The Offspring, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Marylin Manson, Black Sabbath, Slipknot, HiM and others.... First of all, I believe that this thread doesn't belong in this section. I have also to, point out that we need a general thread about music and another about movies and theater. On the other hand, thank you for opening this thread as music is what we most people like here, regardless of age and walks of life.
Now There's hundreds of names from all genres of rock that I might have liked to see there If I was to go. I would have liked to see for instance the Sisters of Mercy if they were at least 10-15 years younger. I would like to see the Silversun Pickups. Green Day and Lionking Park are definitely OK. Or, from the blues/ Rock genre, I would like to see Kenny Wayne Shepherd: Long Live Rock!!! Overall, music (and especially rock) is a gift from God. Time to be given its due credit in the Greek forum. I insist that we should move this thread to "Art and Photography" within "MY Agora section where it belongs.

The only reason I put it here was because it has to do with Athens... But I think u right...
Anyway... The ultimate dream though for me it would be a reunion, even for one day, of Aphrodite's Child (I think only Loukas Sideras, the drummer, is not here with us anymore). I would pay anything to go and watch them. Rock is a gift from humanity to humanity, its one of the best things that ever happen on earth by man...! Ναι ξέρω είσαι κομμουνιστής!!! Φίλε ovem σε πληροφορώ ότι οι Green Day πριν γίνουν "commercialized" ήταν από τα καλύτερα punk συγκροτήματα των 90's... και στα Live τους είναι απλά συγκλονιστικοί.
Τραγουδάρα και άψογη εκτέλεση (Time of your life - Good Riddance) Boulevard of Broken Dreams Οι Linkin Park είναι το πρώτο συγκρότημα το οποίο πάντρεψε την Ροκ/Μέταλ με την Ραπ... Είναι ένα είδος από μόνοι τους. Δεν υπάρχει κανένα άλλο συγκρότημα Metal/Rapcore... Μόνο όταν θα διαλυθούν ο απλός ο κόσμος θα καταλάβει την συμβολή τους στην Ροκ μουσική. Το καλύτερό τους κατ'εμέ (In the end) Όσο για τους Coldplay είναι για την μάζα... Ένα easy listening alternative rock συγκρότημα για όλους. Γενικώς μου αρέσει η κλασσική ροκ (εννοώ πριν την δεκαετία του 90) περισσότερο από οτιδήποτε άλλο... Aphrodite's Child, Dire Straights Pink Floyd Deep Purple Ozzy Osbourne Ten Years After The Clash Aerosmith Led Zeppelin Procol Harum Scorpions Jethro Tull The Eagles Blur Και αμέτρητα άλλα διαμάντια που έχει ο πατέρας μου και σε δίσκους... Αλλά αυτό φίλε μου δεν σημαίνει σε καμία περίπτωση ότι δεν ακούω και την σύγχρονη ροκ... Σταμάτα να σκέφτεσαι τόσο κομμουνιστικά...
