I think the tower looks a bit like an 80,s tower with the diamands shape. Buildings were built then.

It's more like a 'frozen ice' (that is recognisable in other pictures). The idea for cladding is known as somewhat original and innovative, actually.

According to the architect, Gert Wingårdh, the inspiration for the tower was the microphone Charlotte Perrelli used when she sang Sweden's entry, Hero, in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008.

Ground floor: Hotel restaurang
Floor 22 and below: Hotel (299 rooms)
Floor 23-32: Offices (5000 sq m)
