This is inside the house of our SSC forumer ace4

I got really great hospitality from the family, he lives with his younger brother, mama, papa and a housekeeper. However, all other family members flew to Yogyakarta on my 2nd day .

Very interesting!

I love all of the street activity..

Honestly, all of the street activity/grittiness is much more interesting to look at than all of the same same modern buildings.

Thanks / I agree that street scenes and grittiness explain alot more of a country than buildings etc. That said, Jakarta overall is far less grittier than most SE and E Asian capitals. Buildings in Jakarta are so beautifully and colourfully painted, that gives an impression like being in a developed country, serious !

inside Indonesian SSC forumer ace4's house Indonesia to me is a very unique country as it feels so much developed and life is so much comfortable than what its real income level is. One thing I noticed is the way Indonesians build/invest in their homes- there is a culture to build homes as huge, as comfortable and as beautiful as they could.

The view from the balcony of the house
