I hope they have the proper safety precautions for producing and distributing liquid nitrogen. This stuff is very dangerous if it comes into contact with anybody.

I dont want to imagine that!
but its nice to hear this king of news. I like that Ethiopia does this kind of stuff. How is the car industry going? any plans to expand it, say export cars to other African countries? That would really benefit the whole continent!

The car industry is still in its infancy but has a good prospect to grow because of the high cost to import vehicles from overseas. I believe there are 2 or 3 car factories, currently focusing on small family size vehicles. The more exciting news that went down the drain was a plan by an Ethiopian guy who was to manufacture Russian electric buses locally in Debre-Markos, ~300km north of Addis Ababa.
When the market opens up more, and Ethiopians overseas with deep pockets truly believe investing in the country makes financial sense, we will see a lot of changes in these high paying industries expand more.

There are some 4 cars assembly plants (small cars and SUVs) and a truck assembly plant (Mesfin Engineering).
Currently, from what I've read, they plan on first focusing on the local market, then eventually, they plan to export to neighboring countries.
