T10 is a very good value. As a visitor you probably can't do better than that unless you spend half a day just riding a metro.

The 'T-10' card is usable for 10 trips right? Any conditions to prevent people from using it 'cheaper' than it's supposed to work?
In holland public transport has become A real scammingbusiness, not just for irregular users, also for regular commuters..

Doesn't matter. Fraud in Barcelona is too high anyway, sadly.
Lots of people just jump over the fare barriers, or get just behind you and push you to cross them right next to you so as the barrier won't detect them.
Although on the FGC lines they've put a new video system to hunt fare dodgers, and it looks like it's working just fine...

T10 for 10 trips (every trip lasts for 75 minutes and you can transfer up to 3 times).
T50 is for 50 trips.
T70 is for 70 trips.

Forget Hola BCN travelcard! It is a tourist trap and not valid for all transport companies, for example: NO night buses included!!

Provisional entrance to Zona UniversitÓria station of the L3. This access will be the future entrance to L9 South in 2016.
In the L3 station they are installing elevators between platforms and the hall.

A friend of mine working in L9 told me on Saturday morning than the stretch from Barcelona Airport to Zona UniversitÓria will be opened on February the 20th, 2016.

Can Tries|Gornal station of L9 South is not the same as Gornal of FGC. The two stations are separated by 1km aprox.

Les estacions Camp Nou, La Ribera i Aeroport terminal de cÓrrega entraran en servei en fases posteriors.

CaracterÝstiques especials

-Dimensions del tram: el nou tram de metro que entrarÓ en servei tÚ una dimensiˇ sense precedents, ja que amb el que s’obrirÓ suposarÓ una prolongaciˇ de 20 km, una llargada comparable a la de la lÝnia 1.
-MÚs metro automÓtic: la lÝnia 9/10 disposarÓ de 31 km i 27 estacions en funcionament. La xarxa de metro tindrÓ 122 km en total, el 25% dels quals de funcionament automÓtic sense conductor.
-Metro a l'aeroport: el metro arribarÓ fins a l'aeroport, una autŔntica fita per al transport p˙blic de Barcelona. TambÚ connectarÓ zones de l'Órea metropolitana que no disposaven de metro fins ara, especialment Órees industrials i d'important activitat econ˛mica i social. D’aquesta manera s’aconseguirÓ una millor vertebraciˇ del territori metropolitÓ.
-Repte d’infraestructures: de l’Aeroport a Europa Fira les estacions seran convencionals, com les habituals al metro de Barcelona. De Can Tries/Gornal a Zona UniversitÓria les estacions tindran el format caracterÝstic de la L9, amb estructura en forma de pou i t˙nel de 12 m de diÓmetre per on els trens circularan en dos nivells de via, amb una llosa intermŔdia.
-Nous models de servei i informaciˇ: aquesta prolongaciˇ comportarÓ l’estrena de nous models de servei i de gestiˇ de metro, aixÝ com de nous sistemes d’informaciˇ al client mÚs actius i dinÓmics.

Fase de proves

Durant la fase de proves s’estan comprovant aspectes com ara les instalĚlacions elŔctriques i de seguretat, les estacions, la ventilaciˇ, l'energia, les comunicacions i les portes automÓtiques. En total, cal desenvolupar fins a 3.700 protocols al llarg de diversos mesos. A les proves tambÚ s’hi estan incorporant els trens (14 unitats) que donaran servei a la nova lÝnia. Finalment, es portarÓ a terme la fase de marxa en blanc, la simulaciˇ del funcionament del servei sense passatgers.









Com veieu, TMB ja es comenša a preparar per l'arribada de la Sud.
