The oldest trains in service are those of class 3000 (L3). They were received between 1986 and 1988, so they're almost 30 years old.

Then we have class 4000 (L1), which were received between 1987 and 1990.

I see davroca5 hasn't posted the photos here yet...

The oldest rolling stock are class 3000 (on L3) and class 4000 (on L1), but they've been refurbished recently, now they look almost new.

The photos davroca5 should've posted here are images of the first class 2000 train (from L3, ex-L2) to be refurbished.
They really needed it. They're not the oldest, but they looked like it.

After class 2000, then class 2100 will be refurbished.

Encara que no es pot observar, el passadÝs fa un lleu desnivell entre els dos cotxes degut a que aquest es completament nou i s'ha hagut d'adaptar. Aquest desnivell no es, ni de bon tros, tant accentuat com els dels 3000/4000



imatge exterior del passadÝs que ha estat substitu´t per un completament nou. TambÚ s'han adaptat les interconnexions elŔctriques per homogene´tzar-les a la sŔrie 5000.
TambÚ es poden observar els nous led's.

Looks great! I counted 8 completely new stations besides the airport. What kind of area is it where the line goes through? Regular living areas or more like industrial part?

Both things.

Mas Blau, Mercabarna and Parc LogÝstic stations are located within industrial parks, whereas Parc Nou, CŔntric, El Prat Estaciˇ, Les Moreres, Can Tries Gornal, Torrassa, and Collblanc stations are in residential areas.

Fira and Europa Fira stations are located in the fairgrounds, although there are some new residential developments nearby. Zona UniversitÓria is just next to a big university campus (University of Barcelona and Polytechnic University of Catalonia), but there are also some residential areas close to the station.
