I think Tokyo and Madrid have the best projects... and it seems they both have few possibilities to win. Politics

I don't think so.

Rio have lot of difficulties like security and infraestructure.

every city has their good and bad topics in this election.

The results and choice for candidate city are so close that it is really hard to tell has to who is the clear victor. From one end, Brazil and Chicago have the highest support in terms of public opinion whilst Spain and Tokyo have the highest or higher scores in the bidding evaluation.

It's really hard to tell.

Personally, I'd want Tokyo to win because:
-I love Japan (and everything about it)
-I'm from Asia so I support my neighbor hehe
-I want to witness a major sporting event in Japan again in my lifetime (i.e. like what happened in FIFA 2002 and FIBA tournament in Saitama)

Either way, even if Tokyo wins or loses in its 2016 bid, it's perfectly fine with me as they tried their best to secure their bid. Hehe so no problem for me

P.S.
Oh and whether win or lose, construction of tons of new interchanges and junctions along the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway will still continue and be completed within year 2015

Only Ishihara Shintaro wants to take place the game to show up Tokyo.

He's so proud of Shinjuku, obviously living in the past.

For me personally, showing Tokyo awfully damages and embarasses the image of the city.

Walking around Shinjuku and what do you think about it.
No super-tall skyscrapers, no attractive places to look around.

It's no point showing the towns apart from Shibuya, Omotesando/Harajuku and Roppongi internationally.

Obviously Marunouchi and Ginza are not even domestically reputable, only for some old people who have a lot of money to waste down the drainage. They look like the drab-coloured North Korea.

Some of you may have already realised that the people in that particular area are weird, wearing the black from the top to bottom, making strange coughing, who look like nearing to be burnt to the ash for the grave.

And a lot of the right-wing, Yakuza and North Korean related crimes happening all over the place in the underground.

I am about to vomit.
The foreign companies are now all moving to Minato-City from Chiyoda.

That part of Tokyo is now declining since I am here.
The middle-aged men there smell Jintan, fishery and rotten Yakitori bar who puke down the streets of Shinbashi & Kanda.

It is also known for the heavenly land for Otaku living with the parents in the late 30s wearing the nerdy glasses that his mum gave, namely Marunouchi Building.

The people from NYLON know the fact of Tokyo.

I agree with you now, the robots must be exterminated for the people live peacefully in this planet. I will kick them out from the back.

No revenge has to be made.

The Showa period has already gone and dead, ugly psychopath monkey-man.

I see you do it the same in Tokyo, but you have to. And, the Japanese use the same method. It's pretty much common in the IT environment.

If you mention it directly, you'll be in danger of committing the crimes.

I don't think too many people will be surprised that Tokyo didn't get it, Chicago's loss in the 1st round is a different story.

Very sorry about Tokyo's loss, it was more a loss for the Olympic movement, it was obvious that you had the best candidature. I hope you will succeed in 2020, many bids were successful at the second or even third attempt.

Don't give up! We all want the games in Japan!

Everything is moving on as I have expected.

It's a vulgar and cheap rip-off from London.

Well, if the technical quality of the bid was all that mattered, of course, Rio would likely not have been selected. But there are always other issues to consider, such as geopolitics...

Which means that Tokyo could try again for 2020 and would probably have a better chance than it did this time around, when Beijing is just around the corner. At that time, the "rotation" may just be right, since Europe, North America, and South America will have recently held Olympic events, but it will be 12 years since the last event in Asia (assuming the 2018 Winter Olympics are not awarded to somewhere in Asia).

Doha and another European metropolis like Rome would be the best bids against Tokyo in 2020 I suppose
