Did Raja Varma paint urban scenes? I know he did portraits and mythological paintings, which I love.

Hey there, No he didn't. Like you said he only did portraits and mythological paintings probably because paintings in those days were commissioned.

Oh it seems he did at least one - Udaipur Palace, but I guess that was his one and only. Which is rather shame, because I imagine he would have been pretty good at that sort of thing.
