![]() Well, technically, Sadat was the only true hero who got us a victory against Israel, along with General Shazly.

he is talking about arab view. so if we talking from arab perspective. Sadat went to them and begged them for help but they rejected one by one. and no one can deny that.two big factors that are in arabs negative side. 1# they only want to take and never give back or something rarely give back. 2# they talk 24/7 they love talking but when it comes to working and making they hate it they are lazy. if that improve we going to go up rabidly.

![]() Egypt never seeked another war. It was Syria that did. Egypt wanted peace prior to 73, but America and Israel ignored Sadat's request. We had to regain some dignity after 67, and were able to do that, with the help of many Arabs. Sadat never wanted another war, his goal was always peace.

Because the arab world is very divided now. Syria against Egypt, Lybia against Saudi Arabia, Palestinian authority against HAMAS...etc

![]() True. I don't think Lybia and Saudi Arabia is as serious as Syria and Egypt. It could be solved through serious talks and meditations. The Iran factor plays a huge role in the division between Egypt and Syria, and Hamas and The Palestinian authority. Egypt and the Palestinian Authority are on one side, while Syria is continually trying to drag Hamas into their side with Iran. On a different note, nice to see Mubarak got a second vote. Is Mubarak making a comeback or what?

I think Egypt must try to gain prosperity on its own. We shouldn't give much attention to struggles with the arab countries. If we keep ourselves linked with the Arabs, we will never develop, and that's exactly what other "developed" Arabs do, such as UAE. Also, almost all the other Arab countries are dealing with their own business. I believe (without a lie in the middle this time) that we as Egyptians have the willingness to change and make our countries better, especially since 2009, after the Algeria thing.

true when we had a better relations we we where able to united and make such a war. but as far as I know Egypt from back then until this moment didn't change it's some Arab not all so I said SOME Arab countries started to be careless about what's happening they minding there own business. and TRUTH ME THIS IS TRUE IT HAPPENED and will happen again. once they are in trouble with big giant and they can fight back or sort it out they going to forget all the conflicts and come and ask Egypt for help and Blame Egypt as if it's there duty. example for that we are living in that example and still happening today is the Palestine Conflict.
and guys don't you think we going off-topic here I suggest we start getting on topic. before we get a lock from our respective mod egypt69

Don't misunderstand me please,
When I say that we should deal with our business, I don't mean that we must totally dumb the Arab world and resign from the Arab League !!! What I mean is, look at the UAE; you don't find it talking about the Palestinian issue a lot, on the other hand, this country has the best infrastructure, cities, industry, economy etc.... What I mean is, why don't we try to care about ourselves for a little bit more to solve our inner problems, parallel with trying to solve the Palestinian issue ??? We have the willingness to change, and it would not take us too long (Turkey was like us in year 2000, but look at it now).

I told you why. because if we became like UAE the whole arab world I mean people around the arab world will blame us. as right 24/7 people in my school say to him tell them to open the way to Palestine your country is doing nothing and all such offensive comments been said to me not to speak of there countries that ... just stupid and all over the internet too that day when they found some weapons in sina and they caught it people from all around the arab and other region was just like why and complaining about it.
just one question WHY IS?? we not the only country that border them. I don't spending a bit of time ignoring all these but we become developed.

Yeah,And what do other Arab countries do for Palestine ???? I know it is very little; negligible. ![]() And then they blame Egypt as if it is the ONLY one responsible for Palestine. If they think that Egypt hates Palestinians and torture them (Which is completely ), why don't they do something by themselves ???
