Edited above, thank you.

20 of the top 50 cities on this table are Chinese cities. That's very impressive. I have a feeling it might go as high as 25 then stabilize around 18-20 as cities in India and elsewhere continue moving up the table. For example, I doubt Mumbai will remain the only big skyline city in India for long.

The only surprise to me was Tokyo. I didn't think it had that many buildings over 200m.

Tokyo has skyscrapers scattered over a vast metropolitan area and no well defined central cluster. It's an easy oversight to make.

When do you expect Miami's next 200m+ building to top out? It's weird seeing it so far down the list.

not sure what roof height the hanging village of huaxi has, but it is def. over 200m. probably over 300m aswell. so huaxi needs to be on the list with 1 aswell. maybe you have counted the building towards wuxi though, not sure if it should though.

We have two supposedly starting construction in the first quarter of next year -Zaha Hadid's first skyscraper in the west One Thousand Museum Tower at 706 feet and Panorama Tower at 851 feet being developed by Tibor Hollo and sons, so I guess we're looking at the end of 2016 or early 2017. Echo Brickell orginally planned at 750 feet is also scheduled to break ground in the first quarter of next year, but it looks like it's going to be chopped down to 634 feet by the FAA. We think Banco Santander plans to break ground on their 950 tall Brickell Avenue international headquarters next year as well.

Swire Properties will start construction on the 80-story mixed-use One Brickell CityCentre after they finish phase 1 of the project, the two 150m+ condos and one 150m+ hotel. This will probably be some time toward the end of 2016.

The problem with the start date though is that it's going to coincide with the start date of One Bayfront Plaza, which is planned to be our tallest building at height limit of 1,010 feet. Miami would be bringing two supertalls on line at the same time, and we don't think the market can hold two supertalls coming on line at the same, so I see One Bayfront Plaza being delayed yet again because Tibor Hollo and sons have to finish Panorama Tower first.

Swire Properties can pretty much build whatever they want whenever they want, so I think One Brickell CityCentre is the closet thing to a sure shot we've got. This wil be their tallest building so far.

Miami World Center also has a pretty tall tower planned. I'm not sure of the ground breaking date or the exact height of the project's tallest building, but it looks to be around 700 feet from the renderings.

For Canada, it looks like both Niagara Falls and Edmonton will build their first 200m+ building bumping the # of Canuck cities with buildings this tall to 5. Ottawa would have made it 6, but their first 200m+ building was canceled last month. Vancouver's complete absence from the list is a surprise while Montreal's very rigid height regulations pretty much mean they'll stay at their lone building for the forseeable future.

'univer' submitted the number for Wuxi so he'd know. I'm assuming it's part of the Wuxi total though.
