You're awfully reliable. I actually was on the Vue thread yesterday to check out its progress and saw your post. I was going to add it, but you seem to have beaten me to it.

Thank you. It will. Thanks Kenneth. The diagram is a big help, but do you have a link to it so I can click on each one? I need to know the names of the buildings that have roof heights 200 m or more so I can go look at them in the Panama section. I'll add them once I know which one's they are. I went to the thread for Panama's tallest buildings in the Panama section, but I'm not sure which ones are finished. No entiendo el espanol. ![]() I suppose that hotel should be considered topped out. I'll add it. Thanks, and your English is fine.

man this thread is getting better and better! the more people contribute, the more towers we have on the list. so i encourage everyone to do some research at least in his / her own city. i can easily say this is the most comprehensive list available for free on the net. again, great work isaidso.

i did a quick research on dubai, and i'm counting 50 towers over 200m (here on SSC, gone through the threads). CTBUH has listed 40 towers, but they are missing at least 10 towers which have been T/O a while ago. wikipedia lists 51(!) towers. i clicked at every building, and the information seems to be right. i think you can change dubai from 42 to at least 50.
here's the list 300m+ Burj Khalifa Almas Tower Emirates Office Tower Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al Attar Tower Rose Tower The Index Burj Al Arab HHHR Tower Ocean Heights Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel The Address Downtown Dubai ------------------------ 200m+ Emirates Crown Central Park Office Tower Sulafa Tower Millennium Tower Mag 218 Tower JAL Hotel 21st Century Tower Al Kazim Tower 1 Al Kazim Tower 2 Central Park Residential Tower The Vision Tower The Harbour Hotel & Residence Chelsea Tower Angsana Suites Tower Al Tayer Tower Churchill Residency Oasis Beach Tower Al Fattan Tower AAM Tower The Tower Sama Tower Rolex Tower Park Place The Bay Gate Trident Grand Residence Al Seef Tower Latifa Tower Executive Tower M Grosvenor House West Marina Beach Le Rêve Marina Heights Tower Tamani Hotel Marina Marina Crown The Citadel Nassima Tower Jumeirah Beach Residence Area C Tower C07 Jumeirah Beach Residence Area B Tower B01 Jumeirah Beach Residence Area A Tower A04 Jumeirah Beach Residence Area B Tower B03 T01 Shangri-La Hotel ---------------- U/C: 300m+ : 13 towers 200m+ : 20 towers

Corrections on the Japanese statistics
If you are going to count Yokohama as Tokyo you also have to count Kawasaki. Tokyo: 19 Yokohama: 1 Kawasaki: 1 Osaka prefecture has 5 200m+ towers, but only 4 of them are actually located in Osaka City, the other one is on the outskirts of the metro area. Osaka City: 4 Izumisano: 1 Osaka prefecture: 5 Other cities: Nagoya: 3 Hamamatsu: 1 The Fukuoka tower is not a building, it's not habitable so it shouldn't count. This all adds up to 30 200m+ towers in 6 cities in Japan. |
