I275's Jacksonville/St. Augustine 2010

Here are pics from my trip to St. Augustine and Jacksonville.

St. Augustine was a nice little city and I was impressed by everything that was there. I didn't think it would be that interesting nor did I expect the traffic to be as bad as it was. I like how it had the feel of a small European town and I did not have time to see as much as I would've liked so I'll be going back.

Jacksonville was an interesting city as well, very similar to Tampa just with a different feel and better infrastructure. Overall downtown was fairly dead for a Saturday night and there was a fair share of grit. The Skytrain didn't seem to be even running and one bridge was closed giving the feel of the city center being even more dead. The city is very sprawled however the suburbs are pretty nice and the traffic flow was very good. Jacksonville Beach was nice but nothing too special was there similar to the beaches in my metro.

It's not often that you see such nice pictures of historic places in the U.S.
