Kolkata's tram has a new color now

its blue and it looks snazzy...its getting there..but if they colored the entire thing bright yellow, it could have looked really european.

Star Ananda reported that 30 JuNURM ultra low floor AC volvo buses arrived at Kolkata. Those buses will be introduced before Puja.

if any of these buses are ever torched,the consequences are pretty straight....
just like the I.T TOWNSHIP got scrapped, similarly no more such buses will be introduced in kolkata.....
general public will be d looser and those good-4-nothing hooligans will be the winners.....

Saraf, I have not seen any volvos on the roads as yet. But I have seen some cool buses ( semi low floor I guess ) purchased by CTC and I think manufactured by Leyland; I know they are procuring from Tata and Leyland so that could be it.

Talking of new buses, the current state of Kolkata roads are sure to give them ( their suspension) a warm welcome

I think the volvos have not been introduced yet. Yes, there are many nice buses around. Ex - all the ST-6 route buses are Tata star buses(semi low floor I thnik)..
