Thanks, I guess you can do anything you like as long as it is relevant to the topic, or you can add the date next to the photo so everyone wont get confuse.

At first: Congratulations from Germany to your own forum on SSC

Second, suggestions: You should have some basic structure from the beginning on, before everything turns into one big mess.

This is the structure any country forum here should have:
* Projects & Constructions (splitting into important cities/metros/regional centers possible.
* Architecture, Infrastructure & Urbanism forum for things concerning the whole country.
* A photo section.
* Optional: Skybar or something to discuss non-architecture related stuff. Otherwise such discussions will spread across construction threads or anywhere else, where they don't belong.

There isn't any effort about this, but you should have it from the beginning before it gets too messy here. It's way more clearly arranged and attractive for new members then and it's going to grow faster and more efficiently this way. Go for it!

hi NihonKitty,

are there going to be sub-forums, can you tell me what there going be, coz i want an aviation thread but i don't want to the mess the place up coz it's getting messy already and that each project that is here should be put into a sub-forum of it's own, and i like there should be a skybar. If that is alright, Tank Q.

According to the Admin not anytime soon, so go ahead and make your thread!

Eventually this forum will need subforums and I can already see that.

Tip: Sticky those threads (non-skybar-ish) that are frequently visited. That would make browsing a little bit easier.

The subforum should be working fine. It was just because it was new so some servers still didn't recognize it. If you still have that problem though, post it here.

@AsianDragons check out this thread!

^ www.tinypic.com is better. Or photoshack. Or flickr.
Well, actually imageshack is pretty slow and has a lot of downtimes.

PS: Good to see a Project forum, but I think there should be at least a photo forum in addition.
No matter how it evolves, another subforum ain't a question of technical feasibility or overstressing the servers, it's peanuts to make an additional forum - but a decent structure adds a lot of quality.

Thanks to all contributors for creating new threads.
However, you notice like me, the Cambodia's forum is not easy to understand and is very difficult to contribute.
There's a lot of threads. The cambodia forum loses its effectiveness.
So, we must organize all of these. And hope, we reach our goal with your effort.

- we should define a minimum of rules before creating a new thread.

1- the thread must have a relationship with skyscrapers (ex. Project, City's photos, Economy news, ...)
some thread are no reason to be here (khmer music, khmer dance, khmer cuisine ...)
I like Khmer cuisine, but it shouldn't be created in this forum. if khmer cuisine exist, why not khmer girl, khmer jokes...
if so, we will be all lost very fast.

2- define its name according to rules (this is already discussing)
ex: Photos | Phnom Penh

3- Sort all threads
Is it possible to sort thread not by creation date but by the title ? it is more pertinent.
If so, we could categorize threads like
- Photos | Phnom Penh
- Photos | Siem Reap
- Projects | Gold Tower 42
- Projects | Camko City
- etc
it becomes easy to search and find information, so easy to contribute.

instead of
- Photos | Phnom Penh
- Projects | Gold Tower 42
- Photos | Siem Reap
- Projects | Camko City
- etc

4- Vote for the creation of the new thread ?
- I suggest to check all threads already created and discuss if we should keep it, rename it or delete it.
- Maybe we need a new thread named "Cambodia | suggest a new thread"

What do you think ?

PS : subforum is good !

Sorting out the topics by date or sorting out the topic alphabetically doesn't make any much difference. Since we cannot ensure everyone will be interested in the topic we created. Sorting out the topics by dates will help us to know which topics are popular among us. Topics attract high number of responses will appear up on the first or second page, this will make us a lot easier to look out the topics.

All discussions related to skyscrapers can be find at the 'Project and Construction' thread. This forum will not be attractive if we have skyscraper topics only, not everyone is interested in skyscrapers. So I guess it is ok to post any topics you like, as long as it is related or relevant to Cambodia.
