Ok,I didn't know you want to created only one thread for construction / project. I imagined we created sub forum -thread by city.
Subforum or thread :
- Phnom Penh Project
- Siem Reap Projects
- Sihanoukville projects
- Cambodia Economy & law
etc.
So, it will be more easier to find a subject.
Imagine in the future,without sub forum, there are 300 thread in Cambodia forum, one page display 50threads. where is the thread about De castle Royal. A new user can post twice the same thread on De caslte because he didnn't see it on the third page... But it's true if you put all project in one thread "project and construction" like in the past, the problem will not appear. But I don't understand why we have created a cambodia forum. If I need music or car information, I go to another website.
We can create a subforum called "other subject" where we can talk about music, car, cuisine ...
For me, I come in this website only for skyscraper. I go to another khmer web site for other subject.
Well, it is up to you all. But it is ok for me. I just want to talk about skyscraper espacially 90%. But I like to read article on other subject too occasionaly.

If you look at one of the Thai sub-forum - 'New High-rise developments', there are hundreds of different projects - all together it consist of 388 threads in 12 pages, but everything is so organized. To make sure everything is running ok, it is important that the moderator of the forum can spend some time and check out all the threads and posts regularly. If someone post the same topic twice, the admin or moderator of the forum will combine the threads together. Anyone who wants to look for any particular project, if it doesn't appear up on the first or second pages, they can used the search function and get the results.

The domain name is skyscrapercity, so the main purpose of visiting this website is to discuss anything related to skyscrapers. However, you can also discuss anything 'other than' skyscrapers. If you look at the Thai forum, there is a sub-forum ''Siam Square' where everyone can discuss anything they want from boys & girls, music, drama, movies etc. Malaysia also has a sub-forum 'Pengangkutan' and everyone can discuss any topics related to Urban transport, aviation and automotive talks. 'Mamak'is one of the sub-forum which is similar to 'Siam Sqaure'.

Once we gets more people to participate this forum, we can create different sub-forums dedicate to different topics. So next time if you want to listen music or want to know any new release movies, you can come to visit this forum and don't have to go to other websites.. You can read everything all in one place !!

Once we have more people come to this forum, we can allocate all the threads to the appropriate sub-forum. Now we just don't have enough threads (only 19 - not included threads in the Projects and Construction section)

In the future we can create different sub-forums like ''Cambodian Architectures'', ''Skybar" or ''Cambodian Transportations''etc, to cater different people.

If you read what I have said, you should understand we are almost agree!
if you read what I have said You should understand I'm not opposite to talk about music or everything else if these thread are categorized in a specific sub forum.

The problem is we don't have a sub forum like thai.
So, it will be a nightmare to organize information.
Thai have sub forum called "thai square" where they can put thread like "boys and girls", "music", and so on. So, they organized their forum !
If you read my previous post, it is exactly what I asked. the same organization with sub forum (like thai and I never go to thai forum before your post). We need Sub forum where we can categorize subject :
- construction & project
- cambodian bar or sky bar

the problem comes from we don't have sub forum so you can't compare Cambodian and Thai !!! if we'll post the same thread than thai, the results will be different.

Without subforum, we must be careful about thread eachother will create. without subforum, If we don't organize ourself, I think it will be a nightmare to find information. It will be a pollution of information. Too much information kill information.

But I don't care, let's go it's not important.

This is up to ''NihonKitty'' to decide whether it is necessary to add another few more sub-forums now or later, because she is the moderator of this forum.

If she says we don't have enough threads or users now, then we can just keep the forum like what it is now and later on once we have more people join this forum, she can create different sub-forums.
