Not so many. Only Emirates (Dubai-Rio de Janeiro-Buenos Aires) and Qatar Airways (Doha-Sao Paulo-Buenos Aires)... Why those airlines fly to Brazil and then to EZE? Well, perhaps because Brazil is on the way from the Middle East to Argentina and Buenos Aires alone does not have the demand for a nonstop flight yet? In the past most airlines from Buenos Aires to Europe had a stop in Brazil, nowadays there isn't any more.

About South African Airways, since they resumed Buenos Aires, the route has been nonstop.

My "life vest" on an Aerolineas Argentinas flight from Ushuaia to Buenos Aires last year:

That is all there was under the seat. Probably not that helpful.

That should have been reported to the Cabin Crew immediately.

Of course I reported that to the cabin crew. They didn't show much interest because they were too busy doing service.
The chief steward finally handed me a vest 3 hours later, just before landing (after reminding him numerous times).

I thought about filing a complaint afterwards, but in the end I didn't want to spoil my vacation with that kind of hassle.

MUC you really should have followed that up, every seat must have a life jacket stowed underneath the seat before take off, how that was not spotted by the crew I do not know.
