Can some one show me pictures or update me on whats going on with there stadium cant seem to find pictures of what they actually doing to it :/.

In July the contest for the best architectural project for the stadium will be finished.
Capacity - 40000-43000.
One of the 3 stadiums in Moscow for WC-2018/2022 bid (along with Luzhniki and new Spartak stadiums).
The works can begin in spring 2011 and end in 2013.

There is a model of the stadium (actual or no):

Project will be chosen on 28 June. 6 international companies are taking part.

The 45,000 Stadium with sliding roof + 10,000 Sports Hall (hockey, basketball).
Total investition in the whole complex - 1,4 billions $.
Reconstruction will begin in 2011 and end in 2015. Name - "VTB-Arena".

I read on dynamo site that it will be finished in 2016. Why so long? they have the base of the stadium already, its not like they building it from scratch this is a piss take 6 years to finish it its like they building twin towers

They will turn the field, stands will be totally new, and higher, + roof, + sports hall, + markets, restaraunts, etc. Will see..

Am I crazy or what but it look like to me that roof is moveable in multiple directions. I seams that it can rotate.

This does not look like a good stadium. You simply tear out the interior and preserve the exterior put in a smaller football stadium and a small gymnasium within the shell of the former stadium. Something different should be proposed instead.
