Hey All .....
This is the new Baghdad Provincial Council Main Buidling , In Al Saleheya , Baghdad ...

nice! thanks for that, im not sure about the panels though...if they stuck with only the silver it would of looked much better.

this is the provincial council building.


Ministry of Construction completed 84% of the project building the province of Baghdad


Announced that Al-Mansour Contracting Construction one of the formations and the Ministry of Construction and Housing, it made a completion rate of 84% of the project building the province of Baghdad that are being implemented in the Alawi neighborhood next to Karkh.
A source at the company said that the building is a central building with 6 floors with a basement and two wings with three floors includes the right wing of the building as a parking lot containing the building for meetings and swimming pool.
The source explained that the new building for the maintenance carried out on an area of dimensions (119 m in 1995 x) and take into account the construction of simulation of past and present through the end interfaces bricks drought, windows and facades of wood and Aelchenachel Baghdadiya with the implementation of the roofs of high Herp Related carvings beautiful and decorate the entrances building columns wrapped marble green mediates a large courtyard -high (23 m) ends with a large dome decorated with stained glass and Bcbabec as mediating interface building a large fountain in addition to spaces and green areas.
The source noted that the total cost of the project is (16.214.588.000) billion dinars. The Al-Mansour of companies that have a great reputation and has the engineering and technical staff highly experienced in the implementation of projects, residential complexes and public buildings

No mate .. there are two diff... ignore the building of the ministry of construction ...
there is Baghdad Provincial Council ..which was bombed few months ago , and reconstructed again ..
and Baghdad Governorate Building ... They are 2 diff things ..

ok.

to clear things up.

there are 3 buildings in this thread.

one is the ministry of construction and housing HQ:
image hosted on flickr


one is the new "baghdad provincial HQ" - next to it (opposite allawi hilla garage)


and one is the saddam era building in salhiya opposite the planning ministry building which was bombed and then renovated with new multi-colour cladding.

Elusive; as isaid those are 2 DIFF buidlings...
this is the council building ,,,
that one is the Governorate buidling ...
Council Governorate are different lol
