The site for this building is very congested.
You have Summer Trinity very close by and some other buildings being constructed. There are some buildings around the site that look like high rise slums!! |

Only BB, CG, Fuwad or someone else from Bombay can tell us that.

No eco nod, luxury Prabhadevi project stalled
The state environment panel has issued a stop-work notice to a developer of a premium under-construction housing project in Prabhadevi as work had begun without a green clearance. The project comprises two 60-storey and one 51-storey towers. Members of the state expert appraisal committee,
which scrutinises all big infrastructure projects, paid a surprise visit to Orchid Crown, a project by DB Realty, last month and found that existing structures at the project site had been razed, foundations laid out in 50% of the area and sample flats created even as the developer was negotiating for a clearance from the panel. The developer had been rejected earlier for refusing to comply with directives of reducing the construction area, which was 15.8 times the plot. DB Realty, however, insisted that work was carried out as per the rules. “DB Realty as a process ensures that all its actions are compliant with approvals and accordingly proceeds with projects. This project is also in accordance with approvals granted to the company,” said a spokesperson. The panel has now asked the developer “why their application should not be summarily rejected and further action initiated against them”. Under existing norms (the environment impact notification, 2006), the state can give demolition orders against unauthorised structures besides rejecting their clearance application.
