Brussels, multinational city

The last city visited by me in Belgium in February was Brussels. All other were Flemish cities, while Brussels is officially bilingual. French language is however dominant and commonly used here. City is also full of immigrants. The most visible are Arabs. One of two citizens of Brussels has a foreign origin.
The district where our hotel was located - Anderlecht - has a climate which reminds me my stay in Morocco.

I've noticed that you went to see the european parliament. I also noticed that a lot of tourists want to see that. Was it a disapointment for you? What do you think should be done to make it more interesting for tourists?
Oh and before I forget: great pictures!

No, it wasn't a disappointment. I knew how the building looks like from TV. I also heard about the criticism linked with its architecture and size.
I'm not a fan of such architecture, but it's OK.
Berlaymont is for sure more interesting. But this renovated 'brick' buidling may be the best one among EU offices.

Nice pics .
I spent 3 months in Brussels and know the city quite well . What makes it different from other cities is that immigrants live in the center ( mostly Arabs from Maghreb countries) while Belgians live in the suburbs .
