Those updates are quite outdated and vague, here's the real deal:

EAST-WEST CONNECTOR
Coating of the columns has been completed and ceiling panel/sprinklers installation is about to conclude, wall marble is entirely done except for cleaining and grouting, and floor marble just started. Storefront glass/door is ongoing on both B3 and B2 level. Constant meetings are being held with the insurance folks regarding Sandy recovery efforts.

PATH HALL
Platform B work just initiated with the completition of excavation work, work on Platform A is almost entirely complete. Rebar is being placed just below the subway box to create an invert slab. Coating of the PATH hall ribs is almost complete, architectural repairs are also done.

Hi Otie. Was it anything major? Sandy related? Design issue? Just curious since I can't remember seeing any info about it.

Thanks!

Thank you for your information, it's extremely useful!!!
Just want to kindly ask You. Could You provide rough sketch with cross-section where names of levels/elevations would be visible. Or provide link to this kind of information.
O maybe You could mark levels names on this scetch?

Luckily we have the streetview cam, it has a good perspective, looks already huge from this point of view, especially compared to the view from above. Great that much larger steel is already waiting.

The other earthcams don't update today since noon, at least for me. I often wonder why operating a few cameras is so complicated that a professional company has so many problems with their cams.. no good publicity, I wouldn't hire them

Oli, the camera "on" pattern seems to be regular. It seems to start updating every day around 4:30 EDT. Maybe they are turning it off during working hours.

It also looks like another piece or 2 arrived this afternoon. With 655 more pieces to put up, I'm sure we'll see some activity soon.

Once all upper portal frames currently on site are put into place, 16 transition segments (each with its respective arch piece) will arrive on site in preparation for installation.

So it's probably good he isn't afraid of heights—he told us, "I don't get vertigo... I'm abnormally comfortable with heights. I'm always in a harness though, so that's kind of cheating.

I can't render, but this should give a sense of scale.

Wow, I still can't believe how big it will be. It looks so small from the Earthcam views to me!

This will be the next big project after 1 WTC/4 WTC external work is done.
Can't wait for this to really soar.

Anyone with a better view able to confirm progress? Is there a thread with better pics somewhere?
Thanks!
Finally some detailed shots of the new entry pavilion.. by ZippyTheChimp on WiredNY/imageshack.us.
Most of the glass is already installed!
