I'm not sure if anybody's asked this or not, but what are those covered walkway-looking things being built on the West side... protection against future falling objects?

Thanks.

What happened with east crane? It's staying without any movement for about a week. About the same time there is no broadcasting from "street view" camera.
coincidence or paranoya ?

I'd say it will be a protection for the welding which will take place soon when more upper portals are installed which connect to lower portals / subportals. They used to place tents above the places/parts which needed a lot of welding, but this won't be possible for the connections between the portal parts.

I could be totally wrong though

I would make sense to build scaffolding up to the height of the transition segments and rafter connections after the upper portals are installed to allow welding there without a massive team of cherry pickers for the outside portion of the welds. Maybe someone in the know will chime in.

Why are you posting old pictures and using words like 'NOW! and 'new sections arriving'?

He's posting the link to the webcam, which is updated every fifteen minutes. However, if the website is not explicitly refreshed, then an older picture from the last site visit appears.

People should refrain from posting the live webcam pics, because for people who visit the page later, the pic has already changed from the original situation the poster wanted to show. Especially it is not necessary to post the same webcam picture twice on one page..

Wow, the site has lots of new pieces delivered. Hopefully that means they'll be installed soon.

Unfortunately, the so many pieces arriving this site is beginning to look a little cluttered and unorganized! Looks like delays in the assembly process are starting to back up the supply chain. Hopefully things will start clearing up soon.
