Zensteeldude died in a car accident a few years back....

And with a project so complex as this, I would expect slowdowns.
I'm sure things will pick up soon.

Unfortunately,i knew about Zen...
Feel impatient because i just don't know what's going on:i saw that they removed a transition section on the east side two days ago.My fear is that all Calatrava's projects encounter a lot of problems...

The worst part is that it's probably going to get worse instead of better. They are now near the ends and the pieces are smaller in the distance is less. As they progress towards the center with the taller pieces and even smaller variation will cause more problems. While the design of this project is beautiful, it certainly wasn't designed for constructibility!

I have experience in detailing and supporting the fabrication for challenging geometry jobs like this. Often, I would rather say, that projects arent designed from people enough experienced in steel.

Anyone actually reckon that this whole site will be completed before 2020 and as expected?

I haven't seen a piece go up in a week or two.

I know construction is complicated, but seeing little or no progress is disappointing.

A portal went up yesterday (or so) on the west side. You can't see it on the cam since it's behind the crane (south).

No death of 3WTC. That crane will be replaced with a Favco according to Otie within the coming weeks, T3 is 99% resuming first months of 2014!
