Nice comparison. Thanks! I hope we'll see those tower cranes gone in a month or two.

No one knows for sure (not even the PA). 2014 or 2015.

The arches almost touch now. I'm surprised more of the box girder hasn't been installed by now. I guess it's like the cladding on 1WTC - the first little bit takes the longest. Also the foundations for the super columns seem to be taking forever and a day.

Finally! Will it go on top of the concrete part or enclose the concrete base?

On top. Then it gets filled with concrete, then encased in concrete.

Massive! It looks like you could almost park a bus (or two) inside that thing. I wonder what its dimensions are?

Six by 14 feet, looks to be about 30 feet long, (high).

Are we 100% sure that this is a super column and not a section of the box girder? I ask because the object in question looks more square than 6x14. Also, unless it's the camera angle fooling me, the concrete footing looks to be shaped like a parallelogram rather than a rectangle. I know the object is much longer than any of the box girder segments that have already been installed.

Anyway, we shall find out soon. I hope the Earthcam doesn't malfunction again. It didn't update for several hours last night or this morning.
