Closing up that gap!

When they meet, do the upper portions of the rib shoot out, telescopically, from the portals?

OMG it's so huge that truck which stands nearby looks like a toy. I just can't imagine how impressive transportation hub will look when it's finished. it's definitely will be a new must-see landmark in NY.

About 24 "ribs" in place and it looks like 29-30 to go. Will be half way soon.

I counted approximately 60 more ribs to go... about 30 on each side.

But yes, great progress is being made!

I made a timelapse from some of the KPI pictures. For some reason, the quality is horrible on youtube, be here it is anyway.

Crazy question here... I've noticed that the upper portals in the middle of the Hub will be about twice the length that the end ones already in place are. Will/can they be transported to the site in one piece?

Thanks.

Hopefully we get little to no snow this Winter.

Wishful thinking, right?

Can't wait until it is completed. It will stand out! When will it be completed? I need to make a trip to NYC and see it all when its open to the public.

4 portals were set on the West side yesterday, 2 NW and 2 SW.

More arch segments delivered this morning. They better start setting them soon, they are running out of space on the ground to store them. I count at least 15 laying around the site right now.
