Nice, they're really speeding up lately! 11 pairs to go

Does someone have any information on when we can expect the next rafters? It's been more than a week since the first one was erected...Would be nice if they could make fast progress with those as well!

I think a big problem doing them at the same time is the availability of the cranes. I have to hold the pieces in position for quite a while while they are firmly attached before they can let loose and get ready to lift the next piece.

Does this photo show the eastern or western side of the temporary box?

How many platforms will there be when all is said and done? And which platform opened recently?

I believe there are 5...I could be wrong though. It was Platform A that opened though.

Btw new transition segments delivered this morning, hopefully the last pairs of upper portals come this week as well!

Five tracks, three platforms. Track 1 on Platform A opened recently. Eventually Track 2 will also be accessible from Platform A, while Platform B will have access to Track 2 as well and to Track 3, and Platform C will have access to Tracks 4 and 5 (the temporary versions of which are currently also open).

What about Platform D as per the picture above?

^Oh ok, thanks guys. Let's hope we'll be able to count down the numbers soon

In the above picture, what are those short steel beams sticking out of the rafter?

If they maintain this rate (big IF), they would have all of the portals up in 3-4 weeks?!

Those are temporary lifting points for the cranes to be rigged to. All of the pieces have them. If you look at the first transition segments behind the extra large one at the very front, you can see where they were cut off, revealing unprotected steel to rust there.

Thank you for the explanation!
Just to fully comprehend this stuff though - after all the rafters have been installed (and the complete thing has been painted white), the Transportation Hub will basically be finished, right? Or are there any other elements of the exterior that are yet to be installed?

By the way, the next rafter has arrived on site!

I only see one other rafter on site--presumably 1 SE, the shortest for south side.
