How about 2 large pieces and one smaller one. Think they have not delivered all the transition segments.

Exactly, on both the arches 3 more segments are still missing, 2 large (standard) ones (arch+transition+lower portal connection) and 1 key element (arch sector only) with no transition. All bolted.
Those smaller elements have been placed on top left of the site.

I'm thinking that the installation of the rafters will go much faster because the alignment will be much simpler. They only have to align to one piece instead of 3.

Those are the purlins that connect the rafters to each other.

Does anybody have a rendering that shows the final design, including the purlins? I'm sure one has been posted at one point...

Not much work going on these last few days. If they are still missing a couple of transition segments as people say, why weren't they delivered over the weekend? What's stopping them from putting in the piece that's there now?

I'm not sure what the reason is they are not putting the pieces that are on site but I'm betting the last 2 are being held someplace where they can do modifications to them if required to fit the last space after all the segments are installed. Even though the tolerances are tight for each piece tolerance buildup could require the last pieces to be smaller or larger than planned.

Does anyone know why the rafters are already white, whilst the other pieces are unpainted?

The other pieces are left unpained because they had to be welded in.

Once all the rafters are installed, the entire structure will be coated in white paint.

Thank you! But surely the rafters need to be welded on too?

I was guessing that it might because of their size/shape/scale they might be harder to paint when installed? At least a first coat can help that…!?

I believe it also has to do with the amount of work needed in these sections to install machinery, windows, etc.
