The only way to correct this assortment be noticeable is to remove the piece completely from the rafter and fabricate a new piece at the correct angle. If they don't do this it would be very noticeable from the ground. It's a good bit more work to do it this way but.....

I donít see why they would cut the pipe twice. I would think they would best fit the pipe between the two points. I doubt it would be noticeable from the ground (60 ft) unless you are really looking at it closely. All those welded joints have some miss match already.

They most likely would take the path of least resistance.

11 SE is back down. What a surprise I guess it will be some time now before they continue installing more NW rafters.
How long will it take to erect the scaffolding needed to lift more NW rafters?

I would be very disappointed if they don't correct the mismatched angles! For the amount of money and time being spent on this project it should be done perfectly and anything less shouldn't be accepted by the PA or the public.

Oh wow the south side is just completely ****ed up. You can see after the purlin incident, all the rafters are shifted in a little bit.

2 new rafters arrived for north side.

I noticed that too...I wonder why they are having such an easy time on the North side but such a difficult time with the south side...

I have family in town, so we went down to the Memorial and museum yesterday. The museum is massive and well-done, though emotionally exhaustive.

Assuming by what Otie said, i'm guessing they will start delivering the largest of the rafters first. Since Broadway will be closing soon they are gonna wanna get as many of those big pieces to the site as possible even if they are just going to sit on the ground for awhile.

I don't see any overt sign that things are misaligned ... you mean the tubes connecting the rafters or the rafters themselves?

Things look fine to me.

I mean yes I saw the misaligned tubes earlier in the thread ... but from a wider picture I don't see any larger repercussions of that.

Why would people need to walk on the ground floor? Tower 2 is not just going to be open for the public to walk around. They are going to have the perimeter of the tower fenced in. Besides there is no mechanical equipment blocking the sidewalk which, as verified by Otie, is to be open.

The purlin mistake is also very noticeable from the earthcam feed.

Rafters being delivered early this morning. Notice how they hang off the truck.

Here they are placed on site.

As for the misalignment, I still can't see it
