Not on that side, it's on the northern side of the Oculus.

PA approved a Streets & Utilities Phase III package back in 2010 IIRC, where it included finishes for Tower 2 sidewalks, Tower 2 will host a permanent escalator that leads you to the Oculus, opening early next year, along with Tower 1 and access from 4WTC.

it looks like both a spacing issue and a length issue! I hope I don't plan on Leaving It like That in the Long Run It Would Make the Entire Building Look Ugly!

Yeah, that is a nasty little misalignment there.

I still can't notice the misalignment. My vision must be distorted or something

If you look closely you can see that there is an offset between the end of the 5th and the 6th rafter. The 6th is shorter than where it should be based on the previous rafters and the one following it continue with the offset. It also looks like the 5th is closer to the 4th and it should be!

The problem with this kind of architecture is that it looks better on a computer than in real life. There's little room for error/reality in these massive, complex designs.

If the misalignment hadn't been pointed out I wouldn't have noticed it, but now I find it pretty distracting. I hope they fix it. Overall it still looks impressive, though.

What's that thing on the right in Nexis's pic? Some kind of test piece? It's been there for months.

They should remove the paved area and plant grass everywhere.

You wouldn't believe how many times I've heard the guards tell people not to lean or stand on the ledges under the pool panels.

I think grass or trees on new construction sites often battle with fresh concrete rain run off. The chemical reaction is toxic to plantlife. I understand this site would want to have grass and trees as soon as possible then replace areas that die off.

The one on the left must be his favorite, he's not even holding the other one.

Just so you all know, there is a thread already created for the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. Please refer to that for future discussion about it, thank you.
