Apologies. I guess the vantage point I seen it at made it look closer to the scaffolding.

Lot's of activity is going to happen near the end of the year

Temporary PATH entrance will be demolished end of 2014, redirecting pedestrians to use T2 and T4 as access points. Weekends will no longer be closed by then. The permanent PATH Hall will be opening alongside all of that.

I keep looking at this structure and thinking how much of a project painting it is going to be! Quite obviously it's going to have to be sprayed in multiple coats with some type of very durable paint. Containing overspray is going to be a major problem to say the least as is accessibility for painting to all portions of these rafters!

Hopefully, whatever type of coding they apply will hold up very well because even a small rust spot will look terrible in a hurry.

North side is 22/57 or 39% done.
South side is 17/57 or 30% done.

Over all it is 39/114 or 34% done.

I believe its a 3 part system, it also looks likely that a large portion of it will have to be reblasted prior to paint.

I wonder if it will also have to be power washed before paint due to dirt and damage because of construction.

Still a hell of a way to go. I won't get excited until we crest over to 60% done.

All cherry pickers have been moved out of the "road". Most likely excepting a few big rafter delivery's tonight.

In addition to that, scaffolding has now begun installation for the south purlins like the north side has had.

Looks like some activity up in the machinery catwalks has also begun.

From WTC Progress.

Workers have broken through the existing tunnel and are installing formwork in the utility tunnel at the WTC Transportation Hub.

Can anyone tell us where within the Hub complex this utility tunnel is located and from what part of the Hub it has been accessed? I have studied the picture above and cannot see anything familiar.
