Looks like a skeleton rising up from the ground.

Looks like it was painted by hand. Don't know why, but I imagined that it would be done by spraying.

I haven't been by the site in a few months and when I went the other night, this thing is massively impressive. Seeing the added rafters in person really makes this structure soar.

Yes it's temporary and all the buildings will have access to the transit lines, I'm not 100% about the PAC having access but I don't see why it wouldn't..

Yes, there will be a connection from B3 level feeding directly into the PATH Hall.

They're seriously painting it now? That should be the last thing they do.
Unless it's a primer of some sort.

Definitely painting/coating going on. Why aren't they going in order?

Paint job doesn't look good. On the rafters they painted, there is still a lot of rust and other blemishes.

It looks like they're just priming the transition elements. I'm sure they will do a full, even paint job on the whole thing once the rafters are all installed.

Geez, folks, relax about the paint job. I'm sure they are just experimenting AND that there will be multiple coats. Wait until they are done before you criticize. The painted steel in the finished underground spaces looks fine.

They have to paint before installing the glass. And I'm sure it's different workers--probably not even the same contractor--doing the painting as opposed to the installation of rafters. Good that they're multitasking.

Also, I'm sure they'd like to get the painting done while the weather's still good (i.e., before winter)

So they are going to paint the entire structure before installing the glass?
