They already have the braces on both of the last pieces of the rafters. Wouldn't be surprised if they go in today or by the end of the week.

Those odd pieces will form the outer shell of the abutments. Notice the smooth transition between geometries.

I'm just guessing but it's probably quite possible that is because of the temperatures. Many of the high-tech coatings cannot be applied at lower temperatures.

West concourse, upper level

You can go up the escalator & take pictures, but exits aren't open yet.














Further down the corridor are "Conde Nast" & "One World Trade Center" doors.

This will definitely be one of New York icons or landmarks, let’s hope that they finished these area with the magnificent design of the Two WTC........ Just impressive !!!

Yup. I'm pretty sure its closer to the guard booth on Liberty and West street.

From here it's a really long walk, but the exit the sign is referring to is the one on the sidewalk of Liberty, directly south of the Memorial Plaza.
