When are the cranes supposed to be dismantled? They still have to put up the last rafter on the memorial side...

It'll be a satisfying moment to see this structure without 2 cranes popping out of the top...progress!

Ugh I wish they would hurry up and finish it already! =_=

It's really coming along nice though! I just was up there in October but we didn't actually get to go to the site which pissed me off but we are going back in the spring... Can't wait to see this beauty! When is the whole project completion date?

So, would it be safe to say that this structure is finally topped out?

Not until the last piece of the final south rafter is installed.

The light shining on the wings is so beautiful! Imagine when it's painted and pristine...

All the hard work and money is definitely worth it for such an amazing piece of architecture and new landmark for the city.

I don't know what you guys meant for "topped out", but the highest rafter has already been installed, it is somewhere between the middle and middle eastern section of the north area.

Now that the hub is almost completely sealed for material delivery, PATH rails are being used for material transportation.

Enclos changed logistics plan for skylight project, they are going to bring a hammerhead crane instead of the crawler, say mid-December.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I found a rendering of the transportation hub from almost the exact same angle as the earthcam camera angle, so its perfect for a comparison of what it will all look like when it's done.

It is such a shame that this master piece will be hidden between buildings. It should be in some square, revealing all its beauty.
