I agree. Too bad it's squished in between the two tall towers.

Nah, that's what makes it unique. All the other Calatrava designs are in big open spaces.

Well at least they fixed the spacing of the fins. Mostly. Sort of. Well not really. Or actually nope, not fixed.

From other photos I was under the impression it was fixed but from a couple recent photos the misalignment is still apparent. Did they give up on even spacing?

They're better but still not uniformly spaced. Many people will be oblivious but some people will notice.

the uneven spacing is even worse lower down towards the base of the rafters. Look at the space between the 4th and 5th rafters in the pictures above.

Are they almost through installing the glass (windows) on the sides of the structure? Are they half way done?

What if the hub's surrounding buildings were also futuristic? I believe the future will be cooler and warmer (more sculptural) than most people think.

Gehry's building is deemed ugly, because it doesn't fit in. Other people say Calatrava's hub is ugly (and resembles skeletons) just because it doesn't fit in. But in the future, people will value these buildings everyone now trashes. Same happened with the Eiffel Tower.

Any signs of the opening of the entrances to the PATH station at T2 and T4? Looks like they were testing the escalators in T2 yesterday, but I've seen no other signals that they will be opening any time soon. Maybe that December cum January cum February cum March cum April date will slip to May.

I think the tight confines are part of what make the architecture amazing. It overhangs the street and consumes the space overhead so entirely that it creates a unique space underneath. Walking underneath will feel somewhat like being inside a sculpture rather than merely next to a building. The filtered light will make for a breathtaking experience. It will be one of the most photographed spaces in NYC.
