From Saturday 6/20/15. It almost looks like the finished product from here.

They are as much of a pest as the guys at ESB or the Elmos at Times Sq.
Not only are they PITA, but they are crooks. I bought a ferry voucher from them for the price they quoted, which was supposed to be the price of the ticket. When I went to the ferry terminal, the ticket price was posted as $5 less than I paid the street crooks. The ferry operator said that these guys are hired third party ticket sales and they are paid by the ferry operator. I reported this to the NYC water taxi group; maybe they will take action.

The doorways will certainly be an issue, but I think the bigger issue is that the current entrance has 2 stairways and 8 escalators, while T2 appears to have one double wide stairway and 2 escalators.
Even when both escalators work this is not enough, and there have already been breakdowns on the the escalators to Platform B.

Agreed, the amount of ingress/egress is significantly less. If they would open the access to the E station and connect to the Dey St passage, it would take significant load off those exits.

I did see last night a conclave of NYFD and PAFD outside the current entrance, looking at what looked to be plans of the station. If they are just conferring with the FD now, opening is likely a ways off still.

Other entrances will be at 4 and 1. This may change somethings. Plus I think there may be access from the R.

If there's access from the R, that means the Dey St passage, along with 4,5, A,C, J,Z,2,3

I believe its up by 4 World Trade Center. I just want to know when this might be opening. It seems to be very behind schedule.

Safe to say, this is the only project in the WTC I'm left to enjoy.
Looks amazing already.

Let's hope the Performing Arts Center and 5WTC will have nice designs.

Is the base of tower 2 - already built next to the transportation hub - suitable for the new design of 2 WTC?

I walked around that very corner (Church and Vesey) yesterday afternoon and asked myself a similar question.. are they really going to fit that building into that space? Seems so, but not much space to spare, which presents a problem of having a safe work zone perimeter around the site...

The architect said that the new building is designed to fit on the foundation and core work already done.
