How would you like it improved? I personally think it looks very nice since it's not so bright and in-your-face/overpowering. It's more subdued and comfortable looking instead of looking sterile.

All groups of lights have different colour temperature. Done in purpose, or need to be fixed?

It will still be there. Required for maintenance of the skylight.

Have they been painting coats on the exterior recently? It seems whiter to me than even a month or so ago. Or are they waiting until the skylight construction is complete? Thanks in advance.

They definitely are. Just look at the hub last week compared to now:

When are they opening the T2/T4 entrances? The signs have been saying "THIS SUMMER" but summer is almost over....

Considering the delays they'd be lucky to have it open this year.

The hub itself won't be completed this year, not a chance.

I'm a proud New Yorker but I think this getting to the point of embarrassment already. I'm 24 and I feel like I'm going to die of age before this complex, or even just the hub is complete. So much money and so much time just so that we New Yorkers can have a beautiful station. Geez, get this done already!

Same story with every other transportation project in this city. I work in the Upper East Side when the heck are they going to finish the four-stops second avenue subway. I'm frustrated already. Add to the fact that I had a bicycle accident due to that damn construction, but that's a different story and I'll stop ranting.

Get the HUB done so we can enjoy it!

The whole complex is a joke now. As beautiful as the new towers are or will be. There is absolutely no reason this should be taking this long. I don't give a shit how many projects are/were years behind and over budget around the city like this Is. This is the WORLD TRADE CENTER. It should have been done years ago. They are seriously dragging their feet and it's embarrassing.

There are some perfectly good reasons while it has taken this long: the complexity of the structure below grade, working around 1&9 box with the subway running and PATH trains, complexity of the structure above grade (due to PA, FDNY, NYPD and various other requirements + aesthetics in the case of the Hub), flooding of site during Sandy, financing for WTC#3 and WTC#2, etc.

I agree that this could probably have been faster/more efficient (and the over-budget is a whole other discussion), but this is far from a typical construction site, and I for one definitely don't think that it looks like a joke.

It's frustrating as to why it's taking so long but then again It's completely understandable for a structure like this.

You know I truly understand that and I have nothing but respect for the men and women who build this site day in and day out in all weather conditions, but this really is absurd with how long it's taking to even open the corridors. With winter coming I expect the be able use those corridors. I'm not sure if it's the PA or whoever but they need to pick up the pace already and get at least that part open. It's already ridiculous the oculus won't be opening at the end of the year like it should be, but I understand the complexity of this structure. It's just frustrating as a New Yorker.
