Beautiful structure! So much progress has been made since I was there in July 2014. This is going to be a real icon for NYC.

The problem is that the PA has not been able to stick to their own estimates. They had reported publicly last year that the entrances would open in December. In May, they gave out handouts saying "new entrances would open in a few weeks". They keep slipping on their own announced dates. Goes to show what kind of project management they have.

They have already installed most of the first pieces on the north and south sides. I would assume the final pieces over the skylight will begin within the coming weeks.

To be fair to them, they HAVE been under the thumb of George Patacki or Chris Christie (who are an inept doofus and corrupt jackass, respectively) for over 15 years straight.

I haven't kept up on Cuomo, but I don't get the impression he has amazing managerial skills either.
